Middletown, NJ | Patrick Frenette

The Titans found their way to clinching the season series over Danbury tonight, as New Jersey scored three straight. A two-goal effort ended up getting squandered following 40 minutes of play, yet there were a few positives to be taken away from the loss.

Niko Breaks Single-Season Goals Record

Niko Tournas gave the Hat Tricks their first power play goal of the night, securing his 26th goal of the season. He has now passed Gabe Dombrowski (2020-22) for single-season points and goals. He now needs one more assist to take the single-season assists record, held by former Hat Trick Boris Skalos (2021-22) at 26 assists.

Danbury Has Back-To-Back Nights with a Power Play Goal

Danbury had their best weekend on the power play against New Jersey this season. As they would go 3/6 on the two-game set versus the Titans. However, these attempts have not added to as much success as one would assume through this series.
