Danbury has pulled off a see-saw win over Northeast to start the new year. The Hat Trick had five different goal scorers, went 2/6 on the power play, and netminder Ryan Crowshaw put up a .866 save percentage and an assist in his first career NAHL win. All around, this was a game that had a lot of great moments, while enforcing the brand of Danbury hockey.
Held Composure Through 60
Although the Hat Tricks did not get off to the start they wanted, they did not let that slow them down. After the Generals scored, Danbury would answer every goal that followed. There were also some unfortunate possessions that would go in favor of Northeast, such as the short-handed goal that would give the Generals a 4-2 lead. Everyone on the bench was cool, calm, and collected following that miscue, and they would keep their spirits up through the final frame to grab the win.

Danbury had put up a five goal effort, while simultaneously pulling off an interesting feat. All five of those goals would come from five different players. This included David Utkin scoring his fifth goal of the season, snapping a 10 game goal-less streak (Last goal scored was versus Maine on 11/2/2024). We also saw three other names that seldom seen the goal column in Ameen Ghohseh, Joey Anderson, and Ty Izadi. Amongst those goals, we also saw goaltender Ryan Crowshaw get an assist on Ty’s goal.
