TENDER: Matt Danziger signs tender for 2021-22 season

DANBURY, CT– Defenseman Matt Danziger has signed a tender agreement with the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks for the 2021-22 season.

Danziger, an ’02-born Potomac, Maryland native, was an affiliate player for the Jr. Hat Tricks last season. He skated in 10 North American Hockey League games, registering a goal and an assist. Prior to joining the Jr. Hat Tricks, Danziger graduated from Milton Academy and played for the Boston Bulldogs 18U AAA squad.

“This year was a great experience,” commented Danziger. “I got to grow and develop around a great group of guys. I’m looking forward to strengthening our bond and making a push for the Robertson Cup next season.”

“We are extremely proud of Matthew and the season he had this year,” said Danbury head coach Billy McCreary. “He committed to using this COVID season as an opportunity to develop, and his growth speaks volumes about the body of work he put forth. He has a tremendous drive to better himself on a daily basis and his commitment to that will only help him, as well as our organization.”
