Dec 18, 2023

The NAHL Danbury Hat Tricks split a weekend series with the Rochester Jr. Americans this weekend in their only trip to Rochester Ice Center.

The Generals came away with a 2-1 win on Friday night. After Rochester’s Brian Grant opened the scoring in the first period, Danbury picked up two in the second on a breakaway goal by Emerson Molas and David Tolan’s first goal as a Hat Trick. C.J. Kier finished with 34 saves for his second victory of the season.

On Saturday night, Tolan opened the scoring less than five minutes into the contest, but Rochester scored two in the first, one in the second, and three in the third to come away with a 6-1 victory.

The Hat Tricks are off until January 12th and 13th, when the Johnstown Tomahawks make their only visit to Connecticut.
