The Danbury Hat Tricks return home for the first time in Three Weeks as they take on the New Hampshire Mountain Kings for the first time this season. Both games on Friday and Saturday will start at 7:00 PM EST at the Danbury Arena.
Last Time Out:
The Hat Tricks returned to divisional play last weekend, beating Elmira 3-1 on Friday, losing 5-3 on Saturday in two really physical games. New Hampshire is a much improved team from last year. They also split, winning a game in Overtime against New Jersey on Friday, and then dropping one in the shootout on Saturday.
Players to Watch:
For the Hat Tricks, it’s going to be Ty Ferguson in goal. He has kept Danbury in every game he has played this season, and currently leads the North American Hockey League in saves. Also keep an eye on Simon Wang, who has worked hard in his five games for Danbury. Brent Beswick is coming off a huge weekend, netting a Hat Trick and a few assists in both games in Elmira.
On the New Hampshire side, this is a team that only brings back three players from last year’s squad. One of those guys is their team leader in points, Aidan Petroff, who was huge for them down the stretch last season after joining New Hampshire in the latter part of 2025. Among the newcomers who have been key for Cam Robichaud’s squad, the top one is Ben Short, who has 11 points so far. In goal, it was Nolan Francis who led the team in wins, but recent changes seemingly have the tandem of Ethan Moser and Matthew Smith, Jr. manning the crease for New Hampshire.
These will be the first two of eight meetings this season between Danbury and New Hampshire. The Hat Tricks took 11 out of 12 possible points last season against New Hampshire, going 5-0-1.
Tickets will be sold at the door for both nights, with the table being ready at 6. If you can’t make it, the action will be on NAHLTV with Christian Gardecki.
