HAT TRICKS OPEN UP SECOND HALF IN MAINE

Dec 31, 2021

LEWISTON, ME – The Danbury Hat Tricks of the NAHL open up the second half of their season tonight, with a New Year’s Eve tilt against the Maine Nordiques.

The Hat Tricks and Nordiques have only played one series so far this season, which resulted in a sweep for Maine back in October. The Nordiques will face a much different team this time around, as the Hat Tricks enter the second half of the season with a fresh outlook.

The Nordiques opened up the season on a tear but have since cooled off, going 3-6-1 in their last ten contests. Maine currently sits in 6th place in the East, one spot ahead of Danbury.

The Hat Tricks will lean on their top line to keep giving them the production that they have gotten so far this season. Gabe Dombrowski leads the way for the Hat Tricks with 26 points (11G + 15A) in 26 games. Mike Salandra and Jazz Krivtsov round out that top unit with 17 and 14 points respectively.

In between the pipes, the Hat Tricks have relied on a duo of Joshua Seeley and Adam Johnson to get them to this point.

The holiday break was much needed for the Hat Tricks, who look to correct a five-game skid coming into Lewiston this weekend.

Both Friday and Saturday’s contests are slated for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop. You can catch all the action by following the Hat Tricks on our various social media accounts or by following along with the games live on HockeyTV.
