Hat Tricks goaltender, Thomas Kiesewetter, makes 31 saves on 34 shots, which is not enough to hold off the Nordiques in a 4-1 loss.

In the first frame, the goaltenders on both sides held their own to keep the score tied at zero. Only two penalties were called in this period, one being against Danbury forward, Grant Dietz, for holding, 5:14 in. Then, Maine forward, Shane Kozlina, was called for high-sticking, 16:07 in.

In the second frame, a Nordiques penalty on defenseman, David Grosek, lead to Hat Tricks defenseman, Cam Charron, scoring his first goal of the season, on the power play. However, the Hat Tricks would unfortunately let up two goals, including the second goal, that was scored by Nordiques forward, Laurent Trepanier, 19:58 into the period.

In the final frame, the Hat Tricks would try and stay strong and unfortunately let up another goal in the process. This goal coming from Maine forward, Charles Tardif. In the dying seconds of the game, Danbury pulled Kiesewetter for the extra attacker while on a power play. Nordiques forward, Shane Kozlina would seal the game with a shorthanded empty-netter, 19:58 into the third.

The Hat Tricks are on the road against the Nordiques next weekend, for the final weekend series between these two teams. Puck drop on Friday, is set for 7:30 p.m. and can be streamed exclusively on NAHLTV>
