Tonight’s Takeaways: Hat Tricks Take Rough Loss to Start Final Weekend Vs. Johnstown

Mar 15, 2025

Danbury, CT | Patrick Frenette

The Hat Tricks did not have a good outing against Johnstown following their hot streak in Maryland. Brendan Boring and Niko Tournas scored the two goals for the Hat Tricks in this contest. Ryan Crowshaw would make 14 saves on 18 shots.

Boring on a Streak

Brendan Boring now has a goal-per-game in his last three games played, giving himself his first ever streak of the season. Unfortunately, that would be the only time would see Boring on the scoresheet.

Tournas Eight Points Away from Breaking Points Record

Niko Tournas broke a three-game goal deficit with a spinorama style goal to tie the game early in the second frame. This goal now puts Tournas only eight points away from taking the Hat Tricks’ all-time points record from Gabe Dombrowski.
