Tonight’s Takeaways: Hat Tricks Win Third Shootout of The Season in 4-3 Victory Over Generals

Danbury was able to take down Northeast for the 17th win of the season via a shootout. This marks the second time this season that the Hat Tricks beat the Generals in a shootout, and the third time this season they have won a shootout overall. This game was also the first for newcomers Max Pendy and Sal Cerrato.

Billequey Snaps Scoring Skid

Alexis Billequey grabbed Danbury’s third goal of the night, which was his 11th of the season. This was the first time in nine games that Alexis found the back of the net. The last time Billequey scored was in the Hat Tricks’ 6-1 victory over Johnstown on Dec. 21, 2024.

Kings of the Shootout

Danbury is now 3-0 in the shootout this season following tonight’s 4-3 win. The last two times the Hat Tricks have been in the situation were a 5-4 win over Northeast on Oct. 11. As well as another 5-4 victory, this time over the Philadelphia Rebels on Oct. 18.
